Hey everyone!

Last night at the haunt was really slow (which is understandable: Sunday night, 1 haunt down, minimal staffing, and short operating hours), so Mangler-Matt, Brandon Kirkwold and I all got cut at like 8. We decided to go into the park and meet up with r78 and VF7 to check out the other mazes. Here's what I thought of each of them:

Mangler Asylum: This is a classic, and although nothing was new, it was still quite entertaining as usual. Not very intense this time, but that was understandable considering that most all of the haunts sent the greater portion of their people home.

Hellside Farm: Much better than last year! There aren't really any odd, open areas anymore which is a good improvement, and the placement of the chainsaw was great! They were also quite good with some distraction/tag-teaming scares.

Blood Creek Cemetery: Personally, I've never really gotten anything out of this haunt, and last night was no exception. Idk if scare zones are always that way, or if ours just really needs some work. I'd rather have them use that area for a new outdoor maze next year. Maybe it's just my problem, but I need more than just staring at me and blocking the exit to get a scare.

Carnage at Crimson Isle: Ok.... I like the spinning tunnel, but why??? It's super disorienting and it's much better that CarnEvil's but it just doesn't make sense. It doesn't fit the theme. Oh well. There were a few new scares in here, including a really good one from between the two "gators". The acting wasn't too bad either.

Mr. Cleaver's Bloodshed: I think this maze has dramatically improved. The changes in the layout were nice and made it much more twisty and claustrophobic. The under-scare was pretty cool as well. I think if they had more than like 6 people in it it could have been really intense. I'll have to take a trip through this one on a Saturday sometime.

Well that's about it. I'm planning on spending a full evening at the haunt sometime next month so I'll hopefully have more full reviews of the mazes and some photos.

Great mini review! Thanks for posting!
Nice!
Toally agree with the spinning tunnel in Carnage. I mean it would have fit more if there were like skulls on it but it was kind of out of place. Was the split door greatly hidden or was it gone? And are you talking about the scare between the two gators where the guy lays under the crocodile and pops up and goes like Ahhh?
Thanks! They really needed more people in the mazes. But after all that's the reason we got to go through them. ;)
